punker optimized the inlet cone ED 11. It now comes with a mounted blind rivet nut (M5-inside thread) which, combined with various off-the-shelf adapters, can be used for pressure tapping. k-factors (calibration factors or piezometer coefficients) will be available for all punker series shortly.
The pressure tapping inside the inlet cone is used to determine the differential pressure in reference to the fan’s static pressure. By means of the k-factor, which has been determined at the punker lab for all series, the volume flow inside the customer’s system can be calculated and monitored electronically.
